Parish membership
Anyone over 18 who is baptized and chrismated in the Orthodox Christian Church may become a member of our mission by completing the form below (renewed annually).
What does membership mean?
To become or remain a voting member, an Orthodox Christian must: • be at least 18 years old; • partake of the sacraments of confession and communion at least once a year; • have attended the parish for at least six months; • fulfill the financial obligations set by the Episcopate Congress and the parish; • accept the Statutes and Regulations of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America; • hold voting membership in only one parish. A parish member may vote in parish assemblies, may be elected to parish offices, and enjoys all the religious services of the parish priest according to the canons of the Orthodox Church. (According to the ROEA Statutes, Article IX, Sections 13–17)
